Learning with Light competition entry

Carla's entry to the competition is called " The moons of Galileo Galilei".Describing her entry Carla says:

The project was challenging because it is inquiry-based. Its originality lies inusing an example of the SHM in the context of Astronomy, something that isn't usually done. This gave the students a lot of freedom but it made it more demanding since they had to work without the professor's guidelines, so they needed to figure out how to gather and work the data to arrive to a conclusion.
Overall, they enjoyed the challenge and working on the project.

Carla used the free open source planetarium Stellarium as a resource to obtain the necessary data for her entry. It is available at: http://www.inspiringscience.eu/showcases/stellarium.

Carla also submitted another entry to the competition called "Distances in the universe", which was givena Highly Commended award in recognition of the high quality of her entry.
