Inspiring Science Education project highlighted at International Conference
Inspiring Science Education (ISE) was well represented by project partners at last week's 2nd Scientix Conference 24-26 October. Rosa Doran of NUCLIO - Ncleo Interactivo de Astronomia presented ISE in the 'EU projects for teachers' session resulting in many visits to the exhibition stand to find out more. The Eratosthenes Experiment with Eugenia Kypriotis and Angelos Lazoudisof Ellinogermaniki Agogi won first prize in the Poster area. National contact for Finland Hannu Salmi gave a workshop presentation on Friday on 'Teacher education by science centre pedagogy'.
The Scientix conference was attended by more than 600 participants from across Europe and beyond. Participants had the opportunity to attend workshops and round tables as well as visit the exhibition and poster areas.
