40 high school students to train in ISE activities

Following a successful Inspiring Science Education Summer Academy 2016 in Greece's Marathon (http://ise.ea.gr/), in which over 200 teachers from across the world had the opportunity to train in modern approaches to science curricula, Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) and continuous professional development (CPD), this summer's journey into the exciting world of science and creativity is heading to Messini in the Peloponnese.

This time, Inspiring Science Education teachers and ambassadors will work with 40 high school students on stimulating educational activities, such as the experiment of NESTOR in Pylos, how to develop science stories and high energy physics. The latter will be complemented with a virtual visit to CERN's research facilities.

The Summer School is organised by Ellinogermaniki Agogi (ISE's national coordinator in Greece - http://www.ea.gr/), the Association of Greek Physicists ('''? '''' '''' - http://www.eef.gr/) and Science View (http://www.scienceview.gr/)
