Logger Pro

A student friendly, versatile and powerful tool for data-collection and analysis.  You can:

Discover the Cosmos

Discover the COSMOS portal is an experimental laboratory for students and teachers, aiming to improve science instruction by expanding the resources for teaching and learning in schools, providing more challenging and authentic learning experiences. Discover the COSMOS portal brings together resources, virtual experiments and online labs from the fields of Astronomy and High Energy Physics (HEP). It offers access to a network of robotic telescopes and to the major CERN experiments, ATLAS and CMS.

The "Nikola Tesla" National Distance - Learning Portal

The 'Nikola Tesla' National Distance-Learning Portal is a system that allows computer-assisted classes and learning to be conducted with the use of digital educational materials.

Eratosthenes Experiment

Following in Eratosthenes’ footsteps: an ancient experiment in schools around the world!

The Eratosthenes Experiment calculates the circumference of the Earth by using eLearning educational tools and simple instruments, repeating  the experiment of the Greek mathematician, Eratosthenes (276 BC-194 BC). It is this experiment that enabled Eratosthenes to prove the sphericity of the Earth and to measure its circumference.

F1 in Schools

The F1 in Schools is a worldwide multi-disciplinary challenge for pupils aged from 9-19, and one of the largest educational initiative promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and
Mathematics (STEM).  Teams design, construct and race a small scale Formula One Car powered by compressed air cylinders.

HYPATIA

HYPATIA aims to show students how real high energy physic research is done. It provides the students with real data and an environment that closely resembles what actual researchers use, to give them the opportunity to conduct their own analysis and “discover” new particles. HYPATIA is an event analysis tool for data collected by the ATLAS experiment of the LHC at CERN.

Chromoscope

Ever wanted X-ray specs or super-human vision?

Chromoscope lets you explore our Galaxy (the Milky Way) and the distant Universe in a range of wavelengths from gamma-rays to the longest radio waves. Using a simple interface, you can change the wavelength, explore the sky, and zoom in on regions using only your mouse or tablet. Chromoscope provides an exciting and engaging way to explore the electromagnetic spectrum through the Universe.
