Enter the Inspiring Science Education Scenario Competition and win a trip to Greece!

Are you an Inspiring Science Teacher? Would you like to share some of your most inspiring teaching practices? If the answer is yes – then take part in the Inspiring Science Education Scenario Competition 2015–2016 for a chance to take part in our final conference taking place in April in Greece and to win classroom hardware from Vernier.

Inspiring Science Education Scenario Competition 2015–2016

The aim of this competition is to highlight excellence in the creation of lesson plans or scenarios based on the tools, resources and materials available in the Inspiring Science Education Portal. This portal provides opportunities to make science education more challenging, more playful and above all more imaginative and inspiring for today’s students. Creating and using the lesson plans or scenarios available on the portal opens up opportunities in terms of innovation, assessment and analysis as well as fostering collaboration amongst students, amongst teachers and across borders.

The idea behind this competition is to show how teachers can create their own lesson plans and scenarios and then make them available to others through the ISE portal. This year’s ISE competition is all about recognising and rewarding teachers who create the most innovative and inspiring lesson plans and scenarios for others to use based on the tools, resources and materials available in the portal.

Participate

Prizes

Judging will take place in March 2016 when the finalists will be notified. Finalists will be invited to take part in the final Inspiring Science Education Conference taking place in Greece in April where the prize giving ceremony will be held. The winner and runners-up will receive prizes from Vernier, providers of distinguished interfaces, sensors, software, and curriculum to transform how educators teach science and how students collect, analyze, and interpret scientific data.
